2/02/02 - Hunted Maupin grade school found interesting relics in the sand box (match box cars)
also found about a buck in clads in the tan bark. Some kids helped me dig and followed me around the whole time.
2/02/02 - Hunted Maupin city park est. 1963 found several items like a socket from a socket wrench a spent bullet casing and a key also found about a buck in clads.
2/03/02 - Hunted Hyden park in Redmond found several pennies and some round metal balls. The ground was frozen and I had to hack at the tan bark.
2/03/02 - Hunted Redmond Elementary school found slim pickings no quarters but a couple nickels and dimes and plenty of cents. Also found a broken silver ring with dolphins. Ground here also Frozen.
2/16/02 - Hunted Stryker Field in Prineville. Found six dimes a quarter and sixteen pennies all new money. The location is a small baseball field with one "bleacher". Luckily for me the bleachers had been moved so I was able to search the entire area where it had been. I found most of the coins in that one area.
2/23/02 - Hunted Sisters elementary school Did the tanbark areas around the swings and playground equipment. Found nine coins ; two quarters, two dimes , and five pennies. Also found a zipper.
2/24/02 - Hunted Sisters High School found a quarter by the bleachers. Went over to The Village Green Park Found several pennies and a nickel as well as a brass fitting and a key. Went to search the backyard of a friends business found nothing there. Searched a Lawn Area in Sisters where they set up the annual quilt show. Found several dimes a couple pennies and a ladies ring with a lead crystal stone. After that I went to Sisters Middle school
and searched the lawn area found a quarter, a nickel, a dime and several pennies. Total for the day $1.53.
2/26/02 - Hunted Creekside city park Found 2 dimes 1 nickel and 6 pennies. Also found a whatsit. The ground was frozen in places.
2/26/02 - Hunted around my front yard found 2 dimes and 5 pennies.
March
3/01/02 - Hunted my yard with my new detector, I found an old Dinky toys tank. I also found 15 new pennies in a 6'x6'area next to the driveway.
3/03/02 - Hunted the Sisters post office found $1.77.
3/03/02 - Hunted Sisters Middle School Found a girls hair pin, a silver charm, and 53 cents. Another detectorist showed up, I told him where I had searched.
3/04/02 - Hunted Sisters community church under the bleachers and in front of the concessions stand. Found $1.93. Had to really hunch over in there. Used my old detector because it was a confined area and the coil is smaller and lighter.
3/06/02 - Hunted behind a old barn in Sisters. Found 26 cents an old washer and a pipe fitting.
3/09/02 - Hunted Sisters High School around the gravel areas by the bleachers. Found two quarters, two dimes, and four pennies.
3/09/02 - Hunted Sisters Middle School on the front lawn area. Found three quarters, eight dimes, and five pennies.
3/10/02 - Hunted Sisters Middle school Found 79 cents. 2 quarters, 2 dimes, 9 pennies.
3/10/02 - Hunted Sisters Elementary School. Did the small soccer field, found $3.77. Several were multiple coin finds. Hunted with a detectorist named Bill. 10 quarters, 9 dimes, 2 nickels, 27 pennies.
3/13/02 - Hunted Sisters Elementary School. Did part of the large soccer field, found 64 cents. 6 dimes, 4 pennies.
3/15/02 - Hunted Sisters Elementary School. Completed one half of the large soccer field. Found 7 dimes, 11 pennies, 2 nickels. Also found a toy ring, a Smithsonian pin, 2 buttons, a nut, and a grommet. I was searching in the "ring" range most of the time.
3/20/02 - Hunted Sisters Elementary School. Did area of lawn near play equipment and by the swings. Found 4 quarters, 2 dimes, 1 nickel and 3 pennies. Also found a sprinkler head and a small metal turtle with its head broken off.
3/21/02 - Hunted Sisters Middle School. Found 1 quarter, 5 dimes, 9 pennies and 1 wheat penny.
3/22/02 - Hunted Lawn area in Sisters. Found 19 pennies, 2 dimes, 1 nickel, 2 quarters. Also found a pen knife that says "Yellowstone".
3/24/02 - Hunted Lawn area in Sisters. Found 19 pennies, 1 dime, 1 nickel, 1 quarter. Dug a lot of pennies, Only dug 1 pulltab.
3/24/02 - Hunted Village green park Found 10 pennies, 1 dime, 1 quarter. Hunted one side of the parks parking area and under the fence. Heavy trash area.
3/29/02 - Hunted Sisters Middle School Found 17 pennies and a dime.
3/30/02 - Hunted Lawn area in Sisters found 71 cents. 1 Quarter, 4 dimes, a nickel and a penny.
3/30/02 - Hunted Culvert next to footbridge in Sisters. Discovered a dry "wishing well". Found 20 dimes, 4 quarters, 31 nickels and 736 pennies. 1 Japanese or Chinese 100 piece, 5 Canadian pennies, 1 Canadian dime. Also found a small lock. What a bonanza, this was obviously a wishing well for many a passerby. $12.01 tottal.
April
4/01/02 - Hunted Culvert next to footbridge Found 3 quarters, 19 dimes, 12 nickels, 536 pennies. Also found 3 Canadian pennies. $8.61 tottal.
4/02/02 - Hunted Culvert next to footbridge Found 4 quarters, 18 dimes, 24 nickels, 527 pennies. 3 Canadian pennies, 1 Mexican 1$. Site is pretty well clean although I did'nt pick up all the stray coins. Completely dug up all the dirt in the culvert,did not do the banks. $9.27 tottal.
4/04/02 - Hunted Culvert next to footbridge Found 2 nickels, 4 dimes, 158 pennies. Mostly picked up strays that I missed. Dug deeper looking for older stuff found 2 old rusty nails. $2.08 tottal.
4/07/02 - Hunted Culvert next to footbridge Found 7 nickels, 10 dimes, 2 quarters, and 261 pennies. Also found 1 Canadian penny. Did area underneath the walkway about two feet in. Also did area further away from the bridge, and sifted through dirt I had allready dug. $4.46 tottal.
4/14/02 - Hunted an alley and a couple small lots. Found 5 pennies.
4/15/02 - Hunted Suttle lake along the beaches and around the campground. Found 2 nickels, 2 dimes, and 17 pennies.
4/26/02 - Hunted Cold springs camp ground in the dry creek bed and around the campsites. Found 12 cents. Plauged by melted hunks of mystery metal.

6/19/02 - Hunted Sisters Elementary School Found 3 quarters, 2 dimes, 4 pennies. Schools out!
6/22/02 - Hunted Sisters Elementary School Found 1 quarters, 4 dimes, 8 pennies. Found a letter "P", a game token, a bullet, an end cap, and a buckle.
6/23/02 - Hunted The Village Green and Creekside park Found 47 cents. Found a zipper pull shaped like a swan.
6/24/02 - Hunted Lawn area next to Figaros in Sisters. Found 8 quarters, 7 dimes, 1 nickel, 16 pennies. Also found a metal hair pin and a toy car. Tottal $2.91 Used carefull probing. Only cut one plug on the whole lawn to get a pesky dime.
6/25/02 - Hunted Suttle lake beach near the resort. Hunted the shallow water. Found a quarter, a nickel and a penny. Also found a key.
6/25/02 - Hunted Sisters High School on the front lawns. Found a quarter and 3 pennies. Also found a bullet casing.
6/25/02 - Hunted Lawn areas in Sisters. Found 1 dime, 2 pennies. Also found the top of a key.
July
7/03/02 - Hunted Cultus lake The swimming area. Found pulltabs, bottle caps, a spoon, a clamp, and three bullets. Also found a quarter, a nickel and a penny. This is an awesome beach area but I think several other detectorists know about it.
7/10/02 - Hunted Union campground near Sumpter Oregon. Found 61 cents. Also found a can opener. Searched the swimming area.
7/12/02 - Hunted backyard of my brothers house. Found 8 pennies and a wheat cent, 1 canadian penny and a dime. Searched for metal balls but didn't find any.
7/28/02 - Hunted old homesite in Sisters. Found a metal bar and a bunch of junk tin cans. Hunted with Bill, he found a salt shaker and a knife. Zero coins.
7/31/02 - Hunted old homesite and old stage road in Sisters and near Redmond. Found a few items identified as wagon parts. Bill showed me some new sites.
August
8/3/02 - Hunted Three creeks lake along the beach. Found a nickel and two pennies. Also found a tea strainer, a lure, three lead weights, five bullet casings, and a whatsit that looks like millitary bars from a uniform.
September
9/10/02 - Hunted around front yard of our new house. Found a penny and a toy jet fighter plane.
9/17/02 - Hunted Tollgate Lawn area next to the swimming pool. Found 29 cents and a dog licence. Lots of rocks in the lawn made it hard to use my probe. I left a few good targets.
9/23/02 - Hunted Tollgate Lawn area Vollyball area. Found $2.33 ,a toy motorcycle and a metal tag.
9/24/02 - Hunted Tollgate Lawn area Found 68 cents and a "chuck e cheese" game token.
October
10/4/02 - Hunted Homesite Found a nossle for a hose and a ax-like tool. Heavy trash area.
10/26/02 - Hunted Sisters elementary school Found 3 quarters, a nickel and 5 pennies and a Saquajawia dollar. Also found a nice childs ring.
November
11/13/02 - Hunted The Village Green Park in Sisters. Found $1.56, a nut, a clasp and a copper medalion that says "I love you - Sisters Oregon". I Was looking for a lost diamond ring I heard was never recovered.
11/14/02 - Hunted vollyball court at Black Butte Ranch. Found $2.78 and a key.
11/15/02 - Hunted Sisters Community Church Bleachers. Found 2 dimes and 2 pennies.
11/15/02 - Hunted lawn area in Sisters. Found 2 quarters and 7 pennies.
11/16/02 - Hunted Bend High School in front of the baseball field. Found four pennies, a nickel, and a quarter.
December
12/07/02 - Hunted Suttle lake around beach area found 68 cents. Cold and icy but not too bad.
12/28/02 - Hunted Sisters elementary school Found 89 cents and a zipper pull. Had a plastic bag over my detector this made it hard to swing the coil. Rain and snow coming down good but the ground was not frozen.
