Linarite Brochantite

Linarite Brochantite<br /> Fluorite
From the Blanchard Group, the Tex-Mex Mine, New Mexico, USA. Let's talk Fluorite first, in this large cabinet specimen we have no fewer than three examples of crystal structure: Plated, cubed, and our favorite, the "snow-ball". Now, add to that, finely terminated Quartz Crystals, and add to that, cubes of Galena and you have an impressive specimen indeed. BUT WAIT! There are also crusts of non-oriented intensely bright blue flattened Linarite crystals covering two sides and obvious on three more sides with Crystal Linarite in seams and vugs on the stone, add to that acicular flat Brochantite Crystals and several plated Barite Crystals and you have a messy, but amazing museum quality piece. The photos were taken wet after just water-rinsing the specimen. With a well formed horizon, this is an incredible display specimen weighing just over 8lbs. A must have for any great collection. As always, your satisfaction is guaranteed.

The piece measures 7 3/4" x 6" x 5 1/2" and weighs approx. 8 lb. 5 oz.
