This is a wonderful palm size cabinet specimen from our private reserve. The bright grass-green spindle like crystals are well defined and are topped by stouter hoppered hexagonal crystals. The piece was taken in 2000 from the Yangshuo Mine, Guangxi Province, China. The Yangshuo and the Daoping Mines are connected underground. Both mines have produced exceptional specimens of pyromorphite. Sadly not many specimens are coming from these mines now.
This collectors specimen measures 7.5cm x 4.5cm x 2.8cm and weighs 66 grams. The largest hoppered hexagonal crystal measures 5mm in length. With a wonderful profile and easy display orientation, this is a very good piece.
