A Cabochon Project

After trimming I use the rough out wheel to attain the exact shape of all the edges, their angles, and thickness. Working from the edge, I make it uniformly thick. After I have a well shaped cab with uniform edges I begin the doming process. Smoothing from the edge in is the best way to achieve a uniform, well domed surface.
